If you can receive email, but can not send email, use one or both of the following solutions to resolve the problem.
  • Be sure Server Authentication is turned on. This solution is explained in the illustrated the Setup Guides for each email client (software).
  • Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) require that all outgoing mail be sent through their outgoing server. If you have tried the first solution without success, contact your ISP to see if this is the case and, if so, ask them for their settings to enter in the Outgoing mail settings, instead of using the ones listed in the Setup Guides.
